Service Manager Job Description

Minimum Qualifications:

• A valid Pest Control License with at least two years of experience (from any state).
• A valid Driver’s License for at least the past four years.
• Clean driving record (no more than 2 tickets in the past 3 years and 1 or fewer at-fault accidents in the past 3 years).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests (including THC or CBD testing, regardless of legality or medicinal use).

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, supporting technicians, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery to our clients. This leadership role requires an individual who is dependable, knowledgeable, and able to inspire and guide a team of professionals to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the opening of the office and manage technician activities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Report and coordinate the repair of equipment and vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Assist in the distribution and management of product inventory.
• Facilitate weekly training sessions and in-field training for technicians.
• Lead, motivate, and guide technicians to consistently deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide support in recruiting and training new employees.
• Foster a positive work environment and lead by example to promote professionalism and teamwork.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Champion initiatives to enhance customer retention, grow the customer base, and increase employee retention.
• Ensure technicians have the resources and support needed to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
• Assist in the continued professional development of technicians to meet branch objectives and customer expectations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience).
• Quarterly Bonuses ranging from $0-$700, with an annual potential of up to $8,400.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pest control.

Certifications:

• Pesticide Applicator’s License (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (required).
